Vintage Mark Schultz Art Hannah Dundee Ink Sketch

Hello ebay bidders! Q how often does mark schultz artwork show up no ebay? A very rarely! So for your consideraton, - here is a vintage example of 'original art' by artist extraordinaire mark schultz.

The woman featured in the illustration, is (of course) the beautiful hannah dundee. Jack tenrec's primary love interest, in the fondly-remembered comic-book series xenozoic tales as it was published (then) by 'kitchen sink press'. The image looks to have been drawn directly, using pen. I can find very little evidence of a pencilled under-drawing. The artwork is approximately 7 x 8.5, drawn on a larger 9 x 12 page of medium bond paper. It may have been bladed-out from a larger sketchbook.

Or possibly commissioned, at a convention or a store signing appearance? Hard to say.

From an art collecting standpoint, the only downside (in my opinion) to this piece. Is that it has already been signed for glenn, in close proximity to the artwork. It didn't stop me from buying the illo.
